Holland Breaks Junior College National Record (Again) in Men's Javelin

Continuing his stellar season, Zachary Holland competed at the Tucson Elite Classic throws meet hosted by University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ on Thursday, May 19, 2022. Zach improved his personal best to 79.98m/262-5ft, which also broke the JC National Record that of which he set at the Texas Relays just 2 months ago. Currently, he sits in the United States men's javelin rankings at 4th overall. At the meet he finished in 2nd place overall amongst the elites throwing in the meet. Zach's record is currently pending certifcation.

Zach will join the rest of the team that qualified for the NWAC Championships on Monday and Tuesday, May 23 -24th to try to continue his success, in attempt to win the gold and achieve All-American status in the men's javelin. Currently Zach is ranked #1 in the NWAC by over (approx.) 16m/60ft.
