RiverHawks competed at the Titan Invitational on Friday and Saturday, April 8th-9th against 11 other teams. The weather was back and forth with wind, rain, clouds, and sun all within the few hours of the track meet.

Leading the men's team with a 1st place finish was the 4x400m (time of 3:40.62) crew composed of Dustin Baze, Daniel Johnson, Attreyu Pinard, and Tyler Lindsey. The 4x100m crew took 3rd on the day with a time of 44.23, and composed of Dustin Baze, Giovanni Boyle, Daniel Johnson, and Christopher Penn. Alex Duguid-Green finished 4th in the discus with a throw of 42.96m/140-11ft, his second best toss of the season so far. On Friday night, both Tyler Lindsey and Noah Retherford took on the 3000m steeplechase and finished 5th and 6th, with times of 11:15.87 and 11:55.11, respectively.

On the women's side, securing another win under her belt was Leonie Samuels in the shot put. Leonie threw a personal best of 13.67m/44-10.25ft to win the event. In the 100m, Shakiya Candelaria ran 12.97 to place 5th in the event overall. Rounding out the top 8 placers for the RiverHawks was Dawn Cobb, he placed 8th in the high jump by clearing 1.34m/4-4.75ft which was her first clearance of the season and a personal best.

The Hawks will continue their season next weekend at the Raider Invite hosted by SOU in Ashland, OR on Friday and Saturday, April 15th-16th. The next time the RiverHawks will compete at Lane will be for the Southern Regional Championships on May 9th.
