Andrea Bowden has been an elite-level obstacle course racer since 2015. She won the Elite division of the Terrain Race 5k in Eugene, Oregon, as well getting 2nd in the Elite division Terrain Race 5k in Phoenix, Arizona. She has won both the Race the Inferno and Race the Freeze and most recently was 14th in the Spartan Sprint in Arizona in February of 2017. She is currently training for the Spartan Sprint Masters Division Championship.
Bowden has been growing and evolving as a certified personal trainer/group exercise instructor for more than 30 years. She is the owner and operator of Next Level Fitness Training, in Roseburg, Oregon. She brings to RiverHawk athletics, a wild enthusiasm for the sport of Obstacle Course Racing and all that it represents, most notably, a culture of reaching beyond perceived physical and mental barriers to be better people every day. Andrea is a devoted gym rat, and was a competitive du-athlete for many years in Phoenix, Arizona.
